With the Chemex you brew just like with conventional cup filters, but serve it straight from the pot. The extraction proceeds evenly thanks to the conical filter shape and the large opening. The channel in the upper part facilitates easy pouring. Thanks to this, the water vapor can escape past the filter when brewing.
Chemex was founded in 1941 by the German chemist Dr. Schlumbohm and was developed in New York. It won various awards inside and outside the coffee world.
